Meghan Leonard specializes in upper extremity injuries, involving the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. She provides exceptional therapy and helps patients regain function and strength in their upper extremities. She possesses a strong commitment to excellence, and helps patients maximize improvement throughout the upper extremity. She develops an incredible rapport with each of her patients and works with them to create a therapy regimen that is individualized to their needs.
The hand therapy department at The Hand Center is unique in that Meghan Leonard, O.T.R./L, works alongside both physicians and is in constant, direct contact with them in order to coordinate treatment plans and follow-up procedures for each patient. She has the exclusive benefit of being able to observe her patients' surgical procedures and radiology images in order to provide optimal care on a case-by-case basis. Services provided include detailed functional capacity evaluations, a vast array of modalities, therapeutic exercises, custom splinting and exercises through the BTE Work Simulator.
